Thank you for visiting Baffin Records.  Baffin Records (“Baffin Records”, “Baffin”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy.  In order to bring our music to you, we collect some data and use third-party services that may collect other data.  But we seek to be as transparent as possible here, and we are not super interested in web analytics.  Thus, where possible, we try to turn these features off.

We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Our website is connected to Baffin Records’ Twitter and Instagram accounts.  We do not directly or knowingly share visitor data with these companies; however, such third-party services accept data from, or embed content into, websites, with Squarespace acting as a pass-through for the data or displaying the content.  Features such as widget buttons, like buttons, and share buttons embedded on our site may enable these companies to collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly.  These services have their own terms of service, privacy policies, and other practices different from Squarespace.  Please remember that Baffin Records has no control over the way Social Networking Services use, store and disclose your information.
We use Printful, an on-demand order fulfillment and warehousing service, to fulfill merchandise orders. Printful maintains its own privacy policy. 
To conduct business transactions apart from this website, Baffin Records may utilize third-party payment fulfillment services, information for which will be provided at the time of transaction.

What Baffin Records is doing with the data
Even though we cater to U.S. clients, the internet (and music industry, in general) is global in nature.  There is an assumption that visitors to the site may be located in General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)-enabled countries in Europe; therefore, we try to ensure GDPR compliance.
How customers can control their data
If you would like to unsubscribe from our mailing list or have a question or concern about a problem related to our privacy policy, we encourage you to reach out at privacy @ baffinrecords.com.  There is also an unsubscribe feature included in the footer of all our Mailchimp mailings.  Though it should be automatic within Mailchimp, please contact us if you have any issues, and we will honor that request within 10 business days.  If you request that we delete your data, we will do so without undue delay and within 10 business days.
